Saturated ruby. Dark, lifted aromas of blackberry, violet and licorice. Juicy, fine-grained and firmly built, conveying a drier impression than the Malbec DOC owing to its penetrating quality and lively acidity. This is also higher in alcohol (14.5%, vs. 14%) and more chocolatey in its ripeness, youthful today but less clenched than the Malbec DOC. A step up in intensity and backbone, this Malbec finishes with refined tannins and good grip and should evolve gracefully.

Zesty flavors of dark currant, olive and roasted plum are supported by firm tannins and acidity in this red. Dark chocolate and dried sage notes show on the fine-grained finish. Drink now through 2022.
