Bright, dark red with ruby tones. More leafy on the nose than the Reserva Cabernet, showing darker cassis and blackberry aromas with complicating notes of menthol and licorice. Fine-grained but a bit youthfully clenched, with an element of saline minerality accentuating the wine's somewhat austere character. In a rather cool style, offering little in the way of easy sweetness.

Tarry notes accent the roasted plum and baked cherry flavors. Leathery hints show on the finish. Drink now. 4,000 cases imported.
