Concha y Toro Marques De Casa Concha Pinot Noir 2016
|Region||Chile, Limari Valley|
|Brand||Concha y Toro|
Appearance: Youthful and bright ruby red in color. Nose: Complex aromas of strawberries and raspberries blended with notes of toasted oak. Palate: A moderately full-bodied Pinot Noir with great structure and a long, lingering finish. Food Pairing: A delightful accompaniment to white meat dishes, especially chicken and turkey, soft and fresh cheeses like brie and ricotta, as well as cheese stuffed pasta with cream sauce.
Red-fruit aromas with a touch of herbs carry the nose on this drawn-in Pinot. Medicinal raspberry and creamy oak flavors are missing some harmony, while this tastes woody and like cherry cough drop on the finish.
Fresh and juicy, with vibrant cherry, plum and red currant flavors that turn creamy midpalate. Red licorice and minerally accents linger on the finish. Drink now through 2019. 4,900 cases made, 180 cases imported.
