Menthol and eucalyptus aromas and flavors mark this intense red, picking up cherry, plum and sweet spice notes as this builds to a lingering finish. Dusty tannins and a cocoa accent line the aftertaste. Best from 2023 through 2036. 2,000 cases made, 500 cases imported.

Chiarlo's 2016 Barbaresco Reyna is fruity, supple and very easy to enjoy. Sweet floral, spice and red berry fruit give the 2016 tons of immediacy. Medium in body, with soft curves, the 2016 will drink well upon release. This is such a pretty wine, especially given its modest price tag.
