Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Deep ruby red color. The nose presents aromas of black cherries and black currants combined with licorice, pink peppercorns, paprika and bay leaf. Good volume and structure in the mouth. A wine with great personality, and mellow, well-integrated tannins.
Aromas of cherry and currant are a bit flat. On the palate, this is perfectly good but common. Blackberry, plum and a dusting of chocolate are the key flavors, while this runs long and loamy on the finish.
There are lots of crushed red plum and red currant flavors in this savory style. Firm acidity shows midpalate, with a finish that offers accents of graphite and dried beef. Drink now. 65,000 cases made.
