Curto Marco La Foia Barolo 2008
The soil is marly (about 55% clay,30% sand, 15% limestone) and the typical microclimate with a correct soil drainage allow a natural substance concentration and a perfect bunch ripening. From this comes a wine, rich in body, with elegant nuances of wild rose, straw spices, tobacco, truffle. To the palate it is austere, full-bodied, and characterized by complex tertiary and spicy flavours... A wine to be slowly savoured.
