Silverado Vineyards Solo Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
|Region||California, Napa Valley, Stags Leap District|
From the producer's estate Silverado Vineyard (the fourth to be planted in the appellation to Cabernet Sauvignon), this 100% varietal wine impresses in dusty, gravelly rock and earthy clove and sage. Focused and fresh in underlying acidity, it has classic structure and graceful red fruit within moderated, balanced power and grace.
Shows a loamy hint along with a mix of mint, sassafras and anise notes amid zesty blueberry and blackberry fruit. Brambly tannins line the finish, with just a slight hint of rusticity. Drink now through 2025. 1,313 cases made.
