Chateau Bonnet Bordeaux Rouge 2016
Respecting the expression of the fruit and without excess concentration, Château Bonnet Rouge is a wine that has an undeniable charm. It is a benchmark in Bordeaux production. It is tasted rather young, but the quality of its tannins allows it a harmonious aging of several years. Its robe is a very deep red, close to garnet, with some purple reflections. The nose has a nice intensity, with notes of mixed red and black fruit, light oak and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, it is a very supple and pleasant wine, with a good structure. There are delicious notes of red and black fruit. We will enjoy serving it on a veal colombo, lamb skewers or even a braised pheasant with grapes.
This juicy, fruity wine from the André Lurton group offers attractive red fruits and plenty of acidity. It has a poised, light feel, crisp and lightly textured at the end. Drink from 2020.
