Domaines Schlumberger Les Princes Abbés Pinot Blanc 2006
Domaines Schlumberger wines are fermented in old wood tuns, then transferred to stainless steel tanks where they are kept for 12-18 months. After bottling, the wines are aged 4 to 6 months before being sold. Because Schlumberger tends to release its vintages late, the wines are able to reach full potential before going to market. The wine will perfectly match dishes normally accompanied by white wine, especially patés, salads, pastries, fish with sauce and white meats.
This light white shows candied lemon and orange peel notes, with hints of honey and smoke and just enough acidity to keep it lively. Moderate finish. Drink now. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 1,500 cases imported.
